Joseph De Vito is one of country’s leading restaurateurs. His successful restaurant ventures have received global media attention, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Fast Company, Gourmet, GQ, Food and Wine, Millionaire (Italy), Business Times (Singapore), Optimum (France), The Guardian (London), MSNBC and CNBC. Personally, De Vito was named to the prestigious Crain’s Chicago Business “40 Under 40” list in 2007, where he was recognized for his business expertise, leadership and creativity. De Vito is co-founder of One 11ven Hospitality Group, a new restaurant consulting and management company, where he develops, owns, and operates cutting-edge restaurant concepts with business partner, Josh Carl.

A native Chicagoan, Mr. DeVito comes from a family of restaurateurs and opened his first restaurant at the age of 19. His most recent venture, Jellyfish, features his signature style of approachable and professional service, while taking guests on a journey of the senses. Jellyfish, located in the Gold Coast neighborhood will be the first of many cutting edge establishments in the works for One 11ven Hospitality Group.

Josh Carl is the CEO of The Endeavor Companies, where he oversees all investment, management, and strategic activities. As an entrepreneur, Josh wears many hats from financier to owner to visionary. His ability to play multiple roles, assemble teams and bring concepts to life is evident within the sports, food and hospitality, real estate and private equity industries.

Mr. Carl established One 11ven Hospitality Group with restaurateur Joseph De Vito to launch their first joint project, Jellyfish, in 2012. Josh is familiar with the neighborhood and has a unique vision for its renaissance as seen in his involvement in Lululemon, Elysian Private Residences, BHLDN, Esquire Theatre, Cedar Hotel and Barney’s. With his creative, entrepreneurial spirit and distinctly unique background, Mr. Carl is a key player to watch in the hospitality industry.

Prior to founding Endeavor Companies and One 11ven Hospitality Group, Josh held numerous positions within the financial services sector including ABN Amro Asset Management, William Blair & Company, Mesirow Financial and a Chicago based boutique private equity and investment banking firm.

Mr. Carl earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his BA from Lake Forest College. He is a member of the JUF Financial Committee, Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Economic Club of Chicago. He serves on the board of directors for Blue Star Lubrication Technology and Fertigation Technologies and is owner of Joy of The Game.

Corporate Liaison

As Corporate Liaison for Jellyfish restaurant, Carrasco will make each and every guest her number one priority. Paralleling the mission of Jellyfish, she will ensure that each guest receives the highest quality service as there are no titles, everyone is VIP. In addition to managing guest relations, Carrasco will consult with the music director and fashion designers to help create the look and the vibe of Jellyfish.

In this role, Adriana is once again working alongside her husband as she has for the past 10 years in the restaurant industry. Prior to that, she was on the Bobbi Brown International makeup artist team, and worked as a freelance makeup artist and style consultant, which she continues to do today.

Music Director

JESSE DE LA PEÑA (DJ, Produce, Promoter & Music Curator), a name synonymous with Chicago's nightclub and music scene, constantly pushes the boundaries of music, challenging his audience’s expectations, taking them on a musical journey and elevating the idea of what a DJ’s role should be. Spinning records since 1985, JESSE’s roots can be traced to Chicago's early B-Boy / Hip Hop scene of the 80’s. Involved in the Break-Dancing and Graffiti Art movement, Jesse helped lay the foundation for Chicago’s vibrant Hip-Hop scene today with his weekly Hip Hop night “The Blue Groove Lounge” 1994-2003. His event was a showcase for national and local performers plus various DJs. It was one of the nation’s longest running Hip Hop parties.

JESSE is known for his ability to seamlessly bridge different genres of music, fusing: Jazz, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Hip-Hop, Drum & Bass, Rock, Disco, Latin, World and Classics Dance music into a unique style of his own. As music director of Jellyfish restaurant, JESSIE will set the vibe making Jellyfish at top destination for those who appreciate the perfect mix of food and music.
